Not insurable risks
No claim will be admitted for:
a) Engine dropped or fallen down in the water.
b) Boat of the ship with maximum speed of major design of 17 knots
unless the boat is covered especially in the present insurance
policy
c) Boat that does not have marked permanently the name of the mother
ship.
d) Sails or protective covering cracked by the wind or dragged by
the wind being hoisted, unless the loss happens as a consequence of
damages to the sticks to which the sails go hanged or for to run
aground, subsidence, burn, fire, shock or contact with any external
substance (including ice) that is not water.
e) Personal belongings
f) Consumable provisions, teams of going fishing or cables of
mooring
g) In bonds or repairs to the same ones, unless the losses or the
damages have been caused for to run aground, subsidence, burn, fire
or shock or a contact with any strange substance (including ice)
that is not a water.
h) Loss or expenses incurred to remedy a shortcoming of design, of
construction, of any cost or expense incurred for improvement or
modification of design or of construction
i) Engine and connections (but excluding prop, axis or helix),
electrical teams and batteries and connections, when the loss or the
damages have been caused by big swells, unless the loss comes from a
submergence of the ship
j) It will not exclude loss or damages for to run aground, shock, or
contact of the ship or with a levee or a breakwater.
